James David Graham Niven (1 March 1910 – 29 July 1983)was an English Academy Award-winning actor probably best known for his roles as the punctuality-obsessed adventurer Phileas Fogg in Around the World in 80 Days (1956) and the suave cat burglar Sir Charles Litton (aka The Phantom) in The Pink Panther (1963).
