Wally Cassell (born March 3, 1915) is an American character actor. He was born as Oswaldo Castellano in Agrigento, Sicily, and moved with his family to the United States at the age of two. He began his film career in 1942 and frequently appeared in small uncredited roles. His films include Sands of Iwo Jima, Flying Leathernecks, Until They Sail, The Story of G.I. Joe, and Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo. He later appeared in a number of television series such as Rawhide, The Untouchables and The Beverly Hillbillies. He retired from acting in 1964 and later became a successful businessman. An anecdote about the actor regards his visit to a Hollywood producer`s office who would start his career. Mickey Rooney happened to be in the office. When the producer said that Oswaldo Castellano wouldn`t make a good actor`s name, Rooney simply suggested: "Well, then make it Wally Cassell".
