Songül Öden is a Turkish actress born on February 17, 1981 in the city of Diyarbakir Turkey. She graduated from the Turkish Academy of Theatrical Arts. She is widely known in Turkey for her many theatrical roles. Songul was married to Canberk Uçucu, but they are now divorced. There is some speculation that the reason was Canberk Uçucu`s jealousy of Songul and Kivanc Tatlitug`s interactions on the set of Gümüþ.
Songul has been acting since 2001, when she did a TV mini-series entitled "Vasiyet". After that, she acted in two other TV Series "Havada bulut" in 2003 and "Gümüþ" or Noor in 2005, she played the title role in the series Gümüþ (Silver) where she acted side by side with Kivanc Tatlitug. Her New series Vazgeç Gönlüm (Abandoned Heart) was made in 2008.
