Selena Marie Gomez (born on July 22, 1982 in Grand Prairie, Texas, USA) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, recording artist and dancer. Gomez had originally started out with her acting career as she eventually made off with her first official acting debut in initially appearing as Gianna in the popular hit live-action TV series "Barney & Friends", which had lasted for nearly on about 2 seasons at within and over 2 years from in between 2002 through 2004.
