The Wolf of Wall Street
Profile Bio Text
Margot Robbie born 4 July 1990 is an Australian actress, best known for her role as Donna Freedman on the soap opera Neighbours.
Robbie has only been acting professionally since 2007. She starred in two feature films, I.C.U. and Vigilante, which were both directed by Ash Aaron. She impressed Ash with an audition she got because a friend was already in the film to win the lead in I.C.U., and did not have an agent at the time. She has also acted in some commercials and had a guest role as Caitlin Brentford in one episode of City Homicide in 2008.
Margot Robbie began appearing as Donna on Neighbours in June 2008 and was later added to the regular cast, although it was originally only a guest role. In an interview, Robbie said that she went on a snowboarding holiday to Canada with her boyfriend soon after auditioning, but had to return after only two days when she was told she had got the role.
In early 2009, Robbie appeared in various Network Ten promotions, featuring an ensemble of popular Australian faces on the network. Having only been on Australian television for a few months, the role clearly establishes her as a recognisable, new personality.
Margot Robbie has recently been named as a Youth Ambassador for National Youth Week in 2009.
