Character Actor, Cainan Wiebe (14) has been acting since the age of six. He has been in numerous commercials such as Toyota (directed by Peter Chelsom-Shall We Dance), IKEA, Post Cereal, Hampton Inn (directed by Stephen Daldry-Billy Elliot), Goldfish Crackers and the multiple award nominated commercial Got Milk? Birthday among others. Cainan has also done voice-over work and been featured in the animated TV series Bratz and The Jim Henson Company’s new series Dinosaur Train. This Spring Cainan won a best actor award at the 30th Young Artist Awards in LA for the Canadian short A Pickle. Cainan has also appeared in various TV series and feature films. Cainan can be seen in these feature films: Black Christmas, The Sandlot: Heading Home, Whisper, Snow Buddies and Air Buddies. Cainan was reunited with director Bill Dear (The Sandlot: Heading Home) on the George Lopez film, Mr. Troop Mom. Cainan just finished filming Eclipse from the Twilight series and is currently filming 2 other feature films: Diary of a Wimpy Kid based on the New York best-seller of the same name and Sucker Punch (Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Browning). This Fall, catch Cainan as he co-stars in the TV movie Robin Hood: Beyond Sherwood (Robin Dunne, Erica Durance).
Cainan filmed the feature film Black Christmas shot on location in Vancouver. Cainan is also talented in musical theatre. Cainan played the comical and mischievous Tootles, one of the notorious Lost Boys. Cainan has a great desire and appreciation for theatre. When Cainan is not busy with his acting pursuits, he plays guitar, swims competitively, takes tumbling classes as well as power skating. Cainan is a boy at heart who loves sports and the outdoors. Beginning his professional career as a child actor at the age of eight, Wiebe is a two-time Young Artist Award winner and five-time nominee, perhaps best known for his feature film roles in the Air Bud series, The Sandlot: Heading Home, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, 16 Wishes and The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, as well as for his various guest-starring roles on such television series as Sanctuary, Tin Man, Supernatural, Falling Skies, and R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour.
