Lea Seydoux comes from a family long connected to the world of cinema. After graduating from school, a shy Lea took up acting. In 2006, she was cast as one of the main characters of “Mes Copines” (My classmates), a teenage comedy about four girls whose dream is to win a dancing contest.
She has since then worked with some interesting directors such as Catherine Breillat (”Une vieille maîtresse”), Bertrand Bonello (”De la guerre”) and especially Christophe Honoré who chose her to embody a modern Princess of Cleves in “La Belle personne” alongside Louis Garrel.
Lea will soon be seen in Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated film “Inglorious Basterds” in which she plays a young Shosanna (Melanie Laurent’s character).

Léa Hélène Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne (born 1 July 1985) is a French actress. She began her acting career in French cinema, coming to attention after she won the Trophée Chopard Award for Female Revelation of the Year at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actress for her performance in The Beautiful Person (2008).
