Profile Bio Text
Jamie Dornan is well-known in modelling circles in Northern Ireland, after making it through the Belfast auditions for the Channel 4 series, Model Behaviour, in 2001. For the next two years, Jamie was modelling from job to job, but nothing big happened. Finally, Jamie’s New York agency took notice of him and had him auditioning for some American clients. He has done various modelling jobs from advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger to editorial spreads for GQ. He currently has a three-year contract with Christian Dior. Jamie’s success as a model is attributed to the fact he doesn’t take the precarious modelling world too seriously.
His former band, Sons of Jim, released a couple of songs for download. They had huge success doing shows around London before splitting up. As far as acting, Jamie’s first film was Marie-Antoinette, directed by Sophia Coppola. He currently has two films waiting for release, The Wreck and Beyond The Rave.
