Jacob O'Neal Latimore, Jr. (born August 10, 1996) is an American R&B/pop recording artist and actor.Jacob’s father and uncles make up the The Latimore Brothers. Latimore's interest in music began when he was 9 years old. After learning a serious discipline for the art of danceam, which features upcoming young musicians. Latimore performed on Maury, on the "Most Talented Kids" (2006) episode. In 2007, he and his family moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Atlanta, Georgia to take his career to the next level. That year, his single "Superstar".
In order to pursue his music career, he moved to Atlanta in 2007. Jacob’s team set up a premiere showcase to introduce him to the Atlanta music scene as he performed for executives and tastemakers. The showcase attracted Grammy award winning producer Rodney Jerkins and R&B singer Lloyd and introduced him to producers Corna Boys and Rico Love, who produced his second viral single “Superstar” that charted on Billboard R&B and Hip Hop Sales Charts.
In 2010 with the help of a viral video performance of Jacob caught the eye of RCA Records A&R, Wayne Williams. Members of the RCA staff were also left in awe by his charismatic personality and amazinging voice that instantly answered the question of whether the young teen has star power. Jacob was immediately signed to the label and brought along managers Larry Rudolph and Jeremy Geffen.
Jacob’s first single “Like ‘Em All” featuring Diggy Simmons and produced by Infinity, is an up-tempo track in which Jacob and Diggy let the girls know that they’re beautiful despite their flaws. He was signed to RCA Records in March 2010. Latimore released "Like 'Em All" feat. Diggy Simmons. Months later, he shot the video for the single. In 2011, Latimore released "Nothing On Me" and "Like 'Em All" (Radio Version) feat. Issa, his Crown World Entertainment and RCA Records label mate. All three songs have made it on 106 & Park Hip-Hop and R&B Countdown.
Latimore was featured on the 2011 Scream Tour "The Next Generation" headlined by Mindless Behavior, and Diggy Simmons. He was also featured on Diggy Simmons's "Life of the Jetsetter Tour" and most recently Mindless Behavior's #1 Girl Tour. He also made a song with Cymphonique, Master P's daughter.
He was nominated for the "YoungStars Award" at the 2012 BET Awards. His mixtape "This Is Me" came out November 29, 2012 and it features Diggy Simmons, and the OMG Girlz.
He recently starred in the movie Black Nativity in hopes to elevate his career. He acted among an All-star cast including Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Forest Whitaker, and Mary J. Blige.
