Bethenny Frankel (born November 4, 1970) is an American reality television personality, talk show host, author, and entrepreneur. She founded Skinnygirl Cocktails, authored four self-help books and hosted the talk show, Bethenny. Frankel has appeared on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, The Real Housewives of New York City and was the subject of the reality television series Bethenny Ever After.

Frankel is the daughter of the late thoroughbred race horse trainer Robert Frankel, a National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame inductee and five-time winner of the Eclipse Award for Outstanding Trainer, and Bonnie Parisella. She is the granddaughter of Gertrude and Merrill Frankel. Her father was Jewish, and her mother converted after their marriage. She was once a hotwalker for her step father`s stable and spent every summer at Saratoga Springs, New York, with her stepfather John Parisella and mother. During her childhood she felt as it was toxic as she said in an interview in 2010. Frankel graduated from Pine Crest School and matriculated to New York University.
